EXCURSIONS AND ACTIVITIES OF ATIAPITI HOTEL

The hotel organizes tours based on local culture, history and traditions.

Around the hotel : Pedestrian excursions in the valleys of Hotopuu and Opoa with discovery of traditional cultures, vanilla plantations, hydroponic culture, fields of noni and waterfall of the “Bath of the Queen”. Visit of the Marae of Taputapuatea. Kayak in the Opoa river. Picnic of the Motu : 3 wonderfuls motu (islets) near the hotel : Oatara Motu (bird’s motu) in front of the hotel. Magnificents corals garden with possibility to walk on the reef. The Iriru Motu , to the left of the hotel with its shaded beach, ideal for days with children. Nao Nao Motu , right of the hotel, for his large beaches of white sand. Fishing in the lagoon.

Outside the hotel : Tour of the island of Tahaa in traditional canoe and 4 wheels. Excursion of 3 waterfalls. Hike to the mountain Temehani, where you can discover the Tiare Apetahi (unique flower in the world). Scuba diving and deep sea fishing. Rent a car.

Free activities at the hotel : snorkelling from the pontoon (free diving equipment) corals garden where you can see turtles, meal of moray eels, games of society, library, table-tennis, floating sun long chairs and play of ball.

Before the hotel, the lagoon offers changing colours with a panoramic view on the bird’s motu and HUAHINE island. From the terrace of your bungalow, you can look wonderful sunrise and at the end of the day, go up on the small hill behind your bungalow to see the romantic sunset on the Marae of Tapuatapuatea.
